ヴィジティング・フェローは、現代演劇・舞踊の海外ネットワークの拡大、相互理解の促進を目的に、日本の現代演劇、舞踊の状況や背景、魅力等の研究を支援するプログラムです。重要な役割を担うことが期待される海外の芸術家、アーツ・マネジャーに、森下スタジオを拠点とする滞在機会を提供します。自薦、他薦は問いません。
「芸術家のためのリサーチ・レジデンシー」では、日本の文化や芸術をテーマにした創作や、日本との継続的な協働事業を構想する芸術家を対象に、日本でのリサーチ、将来のパートナーとの出会いや対話の機会を提供。また、「アーツ・マネジャーのためのリサーチ・レジデンシー」では、将来、日本との継続的な交流事業を構想するアーツ・マネジャーを対象に、日本の現代演劇や舞踊をリサーチする機会、ネットワーク拡大のために芸術家や関係者との出会いや対話の機会を提供します。

The visiting fellow program aims to support research carried out into contemporary Japanese theater and the context and appeal of Japanese dance, with the objective of expanding an international network of contemporary theater and dance and promoting mutual understanding. Overseas artists and art managers who are expected to play important roles in their respective fields are given the opportunity to be based at Morishita studio. Both self-recommendations and those by professionals on behalf of the applicants are welcome. Targeting artists whose work takes Japanese culture and art as its theme, or who envisage projects that build a continued collaboration with Japan, the Research Residency for Artists provides participants with opportunities to undertake research, or encounter or start a dialogue with future creative partners in Japan. In addition, the Research Residency for Arts Managers, which targets art managers who conceive of projects that continue an exchange with Japan, provides opportunities to undertake research into contemporary Japanese theater and dance, giving chances to encounter and begin dialogue with artists and related professionals in order to expand existing networks.
