Ongoing AIR（オンゴーイング・アーティスト イン レジデンス）とは、Art Center Ongoing が2013年4月より始動させた新プログラムです。国内外を問わず、アーティストやキュレーター等を広く募集し、2ヶ月間の滞在およびArt Center Ongoingでの展示発表の機会を無償で提供します。
Ongoing AIRの最大の魅力は、Art Center Ongoingに集まるアーティストのネットワークにあるといえます。Art Center Ongoingは、2008年のオープン以来、100を超える企画展を開催してきました。ここには、主に20代から30代の現在進行形で活躍する多くのアーティストが集い、様々な情報を交換しながら、日々新しい表現を模索・発信し続けています。併設するカフェでの彼らとのコミニケーションは、現在の東京のアートシーンを知るのに最良の近道であり、新しい繋がりや出会いを生みだすことでしょう。宿泊施設のある吉祥寺には自然豊かな井の頭公園があり、新宿、渋谷といった都心へも電車で20分と立地条件も申し分ありません。Ongoing AIRで、現在進行形の東京のアートに直に触れてみてください。

Ongoing AIR (Ongoing Artist in Residence) is a new program kickstarted in April 2013. The program provides opportunities to artists and curators to stay for a two-month period and hold an exhibition at Art Center Ongoing free of charge, regardless of whether they are based in Japan or overseas※. The most appealing point about Ongoing AIR is the large network of artists which gathers upon this art space, which since its opening in 2008, has organized over 100 exhibitions. Here active young artists in their 20s and 30s join together in a sharing of information and knowledge, continuously pursuing new forms of expression on a daily basis and generating a form of communication which offers the best short cut to knowing more about the contemporary art scene of Tokyo, with an array of new connections and encounters. Among the residential apartments of Kichijoji is the rich nature of Inokashira Park, while 20-minute access by train to the city centers of Shinjuku and Shibuya makes this a perfect location. Come to experience directly the art of Tokyo in the progressive tense at Ongoing AIR. ※Cost of flights, living expenses and artwork production costs are not included.
